March was a literally a washout. It seemed like every day we had some rain. We still managed to make some progress with the pool house, and once the roof was on it was possible to get on with the electrics and pump equipment.

The second week in April saw a dramatic change in the weather and progress has been good. The pool is now finished. The first week in May should see the terrace laid. Watch this space!

We have been concentrating on the pool since last year, but that doesn’t mean that the garden can be neglected. Linda and Henry help out with some much needed trimming and mowing.
